My Entrepreneurship Story

Over the summer, I worked for a lake management company called Allstate Resource Management. The company uses natural products to eliminate algae and harmful, invasive plants in a lake. I came up with a new method to spreading the herbicide to be more efficient on the job. My idea was to have one applicator walking the perimeter of the lake using a spray backpack, meanwhile another applicator is inside a boat spraying the interior of the lake. This just subtracts the time it takes one single applicator to do an entire lake at once. Our productivity increased immensely and the lakes were just as clean.

I enrolled in ENT 3003 to get a new perspective on entrepreneurship. I have a general understanding of the concepts, but I do not really know many details about the process of becoming an entrepreneur. I am an aspiring Business Management major, and I feel entrepreneurship could assist me greatly.
